My goodness, the captain was really angry just now... oooh dear.... But let me start from the beginning:
To our surprise, this morning the captain hoisted the sails quite early. 'Heading towards Alghero, helmsman!' Alghero? π± That's 3 hours and 20 minutes away to the northwest, and we are currently in the southeast. I wanted to insist, but the captain was already asleep. That meant the clock was ticking... if he woke up and we were not in Alghero, I didn't want to be at the helm. Push the pedal to the metal, I thought to myself, and zoomed past one Panda after another on Sardinia's sea roads. Again and again, I followed local sailing boats, as they usually know exactly how fast one can 'really' sail and when it's better to trim the sails, hehehe... Since self-praise is no praise, let's hold our noses. I rocked it and quickly sailed Massimo to Alghero! Without stopping! A nautical masterpiece, and the admiral and the captain were delighted. We are now anchoring in a blue lagoon, 4km before Alghero! The captain immediately approved of that too... Since we encountered no resistance, he abandoned his plans of conquest and we returned after a short tour of the old town to an Italian restaurant (where else) and let ourselves be cooked for. The captain happily nibbled on a piece of bread that was served beforehand, which we would never have eaten π Since lobsters are soft animals for the captain, he easily gobbled them up. After that, the fun was over...! There was no sign of a cozy return trip! Maybe it was too much to also rob the local ice cream seller, but the captain shouted the entire way home. At least he was really tired afterwards and the admiral gave him the final blow π
