Day 11 - Kenting

Today we took the TRA train to Kaohsiung and then the express bus to Kenting. Carolin stayed in Kaohsiung to take her last Mandarin exam and attend the last 3 days of on-site university classes.

We will meet again in Kaohsiung on Thursday.

Our hotel in Kenting is right on the beach and it is very warm. However, there is a strong wind here, which makes it quite cold after sunset. So, layer up!

The sea is not very warm and it would take some courage to go in. The waves are also quite big, so we'll just take a walk on the beach.

In the evening, we go to the buffet in the resort and can try a little bit of everything - it's okay, but we haven't found any highlights. The price was ridiculously expensive compared to the night market, but cheap for our standards (20€!).
