La daabacay: 10.05.2022
I can handle the Alps, but not Italy yet. So far, I've been to places almost every day where I've been on vacation by car before. Now, new territory begins, today was kind of a workday.
To the south of Lecco is the greater Milan area, which has the significant disadvantage that there is no campsite there, only those terrible park4night parking spaces for motorhomes under highway bridges. I'm not ready to stay there yet. Today, for the first time since I've been on the road, it's sunny and warm in the south, so perfect camping weather.
Jean-Claude, this French Manfred Laudan, told me yesterday that he came from Lake Iseo, where there is a campsite that is still open. I didn't want to drive his 90 km, but it ended up being 70 km past Bergamo and always eastward, but luckily today there was finally a west wind. I was in Bergamo in February, so today I drove past the wonderful Cittá Alta without a guilty conscience.
The campsite I chose because of the highly recommended pizzeria is closed for renovation, unlike promised on the internet. The replacement is okay, instead of pizza, I have something self-cooked and at least a local wine.

Camping Sebiano, €15 if you speak a little Italian, otherwise €16, WiFi at the reception, warm showers, not great but okay.
