It's a pity that we only had a short amount of time to visit Tallinn today. We could only manage a minimum in 2 hours. The positive impression from yesterday was confirmed: Tallinn is a truly worth seeing city. It's worth a visit. The beautiful old medieval houses have been excellently renovated. The Germans have played a significant role in the city's history since the time of the Crusades, which we were not so aware of before.
In the late morning, we continued our journey towards Latvia or Riga. During the brief stopover in the old university town of Tartu, we only managed a quick visit to the marketplace ringel. We had a second stop (lunch at 17:00) at a idyllically located farm near Sigulda (Have you ever heard of bobsledding in this context?)
We are staying at the Wellton Hotel Riga.
