Actually, the alarm clock was supposed to go off at 8:00 am today. Hmmmm, at least I didn't need it :-(. Since yesterday, there have been dozens of cows on a pasture to the right of our vacation home, and to the left of our house is a huge cowshed. Last night, the cows on the pasture made a sound and the ones in the stable apparently responded. It went on like that the whole night....! Gruesome, actually I like the animals. But that was unbearable and I woke up and got up at 6:37 a.m. because of the loud mooooo! Unbelievable how loud they roar :-()! Daniela must have a deep sleep, she didn't hear anything :-()!
We set off early towards the Bear Forest. It was very foggy on the way and visibility was hardly there. Luckily, I didn't have to drive :-)! Despite the fog, we arrived at the Bear Forest. There are 15 bears living in a very large area in the Bear Forest. They were mostly rescued from zoos. At first, we wondered how we would even see a bear in this large park/forest. Littlefoot didn't care about anything, she marked everywhere she could :-). And then finally there was a bear in front of the fence. We watched him for a while and suddenly he jumped forward from nowhere, hit the electric fence with his paw and roared at Littlefoot. Help, I was really scared, but Littlefoot just turned her head and sat down. I expected her to jump out of her fur and bark :-() but no, she stayed cool! We continued and were able to observe several more bears on our circular route through the park. We really liked it in the Bear Forest. Dear Monika, Littlefoot also did well in the Bear Forest :-).
Afterwards, we drove to 'Plau am See'. Here we picked up the bikes from the car and cycled to the harbor. Hmmmm, we treated ourselves to the first fish sandwiches :-)! Super delicious. Strengthened, we took a very nice route today. First, we went through a varied forest area and then for a long time along the Plauer See. Here we lay down in the sun at a beautiful beach section and Daniela actually went swimming. I would have loved to fall asleep, I was so tired like a cow! When we got back on our bikes, we looked at some sights that were on our route.
We are also very excited about our day today.
AAAAANNNNDDDD about 45 minutes ago, Daniela and I walked to the cow pasture and had a serious chat with the cows. It was funny, 9 fat cows came running straight to the fence and stared at us. Daniela asked them to be a little quieter and one of them mooed very loudly. They also turned their bodies towards the cowshed when mooing. So I think they communicate with each other.
I hope I can sleep tonight :-(!
