Rain after rain

La daabacay: 06.02.2020

Hey there,

We left the campsite around 10 o'clock and drove to a lookout point where we were supposed to have a beautiful view of the east coast. Unfortunately, due to the weather (pouring rain), we couldn't see much except for fog.

So we decided to continue driving and make a stop in Coffs Harbour. Unfortunately, the weather didn't improve and after a 10-minute walk along the beach promenade, we were completely drenched from head to toe. ☔ So we checked the weather forecast and unfortunately found out that this weather is expected to continue until next week (which is of course very good for the bushfires). The weather is definitely better below Sydney and in Melbourne. And since we only have 'Bobby' (our camper) for two more weeks and have to return it in Melbourne, we unfortunately can't wait for better weather and drove over 300 kilometers south today, with a pit stop at McDonald's for lunch, of course 😅. We are now trying to get to better weather as quickly as possible so that we can see as much as possible here.

When we arrived at the campsite, it was pouring down again, and Mareike and I passed the time playing cards, having some wine, and eating. 😁

Later, we cooked our dinner and went swimming in the adjacent lake of our campsite. Because even though it's raining here, it's not cold. The temperatures here are currently between 24 and 28 degrees. 🌦

Greetings from Mungo Brush, Australia to Germany! 😇

Yours, Jojo 💫
