We take the ferry to the mainland from where we board the bus and drive to Bangkok. After a 10-hour journey, we arrive in the capital city. We check into the hostel and then explore the nearby night market on Kao San Road. It reminds us a bit of the Spanish party hotspots, with people trying to lure you into their bars or sell you their trinkets.
The next day, we walk through the streets, get a dragon fruit shake, and visit the Wat Phao temple. It's really beautiful, and one of the compounds houses a 35-meter long and 8-meter high reclining Buddha statue.
Late in the evening, we visit one of the many sky bars, the Octave Bar. Dressed chic, we enjoy a cocktail with a good view, before sadly realizing that we will be spending our last evening together with Jasmin, as her flight leaves early in the morning.
