I had no idea what our destination was today. I was all the more pleased to find a lively, pretty little port town here.

The historic buildings and shady narrow streets are worth seeing. Many small shops offer their goods and services, but there are also large modern shopping centers outside the historic city center.

At around 11 a.m. I had chosen a restaurant with good reviews on Google Maps, namely the "Gostilna Pri Tinetu". First I just ordered a beer and watched the hustle and bustle in the adjacent alley. I kept spotting fellow travelers. Two of them, an Australian couple who were on the Kenya trip, kindly sat down next to me and also ordered drinks. We had a great conversation and finally ordered lunch. I really enjoyed my pasta in truffle sauce. When my Australian friends left, I wanted to pay, but the landlord told me that my bill had already been paid. I thanked my fellow travelers warmly. Then we went our separate ways.

I was back on board around 1 p.m. and treated myself to a nap.

I then listened to the String Reverie Trio. I skipped today's concert because I've seen the "Club Royal" show often enough.
