Salta
Finally Argentina! After traveling for 2 1/2 months, I reached one of my dream travel destinations. The journey from Chile took over 13 hours. We arrived just before 9:00 pm and decided to go to a restaurant after taking a shower. Meat, meat, and more meat! I had steak every evening during the six days in Argentina. And what steaks they were - Bife de Chorizo, Bife de Lomo, Medallion Steak, and so on. In Salta, I only explored the city and did not engage in any activities. It wasn't a big deal since the Champions League was starting again.
Buenos Aires
The flight from Salta took less than two hours. During the day, I visited the shopping street of Buenos Aires (BA) and had the last dinner, of course, steak, with the g-adventures group. In BA, I spent most of my time outdoors...I saw many interesting buildings or monuments (Teatro Colon, Caminito House and Street, Boca Juniors Stadium, district 'La Boca', 'San Telmo', and 'Palermo'. In this last district, I booked my hostel called Art Factory Palermo. This area is allegedly the trendiest in the city - I can confirm that. This neighborhood is lively both during the day and at night! I particularly want to mention a club. Club Bayside!! Big club with various indoor and outdoor floors. Latino music and EDM. Good people, amazing venue, great music, and fantastic atmosphere - definitely one of the best parties I have ever attended! I spent the last day in BA recovering since we only returned in the morning.
The 35-day tour couldn't have ended better. Now I'm heading to Iguazu for the waterfalls before going to Rio - Carnival is calling 😎
