Hi everyone,
We had a wonderful last day today!
At 8:30 am, we met the dive guides right by our camper :). It was so relaxed! Normally, we always had to worry about whether the dive center had enough parking space or if it was located on a narrow street that we couldn't enter with our camper. Then the journey, the carrying of the equipment... We've never had it as great as today :).
We were greeted warmly right away and not only were the guides great, but also the other divers on the boat. We quickly had a very good atmosphere and were joking with each other. After a 20-minute boat ride, we already reached the first dive spot. A great dive! We dove in a narrow canyon, swam under a rock, and through an arch. We also saw a lot: many small fish, moray eels, grouper, and even a small skate!
Afterwards, we had an hour of surface interval. Drinks and cookies were even provided and there was a cheerful atmosphere the whole time.
The second dive was also great! The highlight there was a tunnel about 12 meters long, completely covered in coral.
Back on land, we chatted with our guide for a while and said goodbye - a bit wistfully, because we would have liked to go out with the guys again.
We had a quick lunch and then took our boat to the private beach for the last time. There, we enjoyed the view, the sand, the water, and the warm air for about an hour. Oh yes, did you know that mussels can bury themselves? We watched them for a while, it was really fascinating :).
Now the moment of departure had come... Everything packed, said our last goodbyes, and off we went towards Olbia. On the way, we bought the essentials, took care of everything around the camper, and drove to the ferry port. Unbelievable... Everything worked! We could even hide in the camper (normally you have to leave the vehicle on the ferry)! Earlier, we had something small to eat, watched our series, and slowly went to sleep.
See you again tomorrow!
