We spent 2 very windy and one calm day on the campsite. Unfortunately, I can't remember much from the first day due to strong headaches.
Our pitch was initially in the far corner of the quite hilly site. Even going to the toilet was considered as exercise based on the clock. However, the next day we had to move because we couldn't get a pitch for 3 nights. The new pitch was closer and also slightly less windy.
Apart from the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, the site was very nice. The children enjoyed visiting the pigs, goats, geese, rabbits, and guinea pig, and there was sometimes enough space to fly a kite.
The huge mudflat area was right in front of the site, and it was very slippery, as can be seen from closer examination of the photos.
We also visited the town of Morecambe, as a crime series we had seen was filmed there. However, it was mainly just a row of arcades and cafes, and didn't look nice, except for the small playground maybe.
