Miami 🏝☀️ - Solo Travel 2.0 -

Hello and welcome back to my new blog post! 😃

My Miami trip is already over. 😂 I'll try to keep it short. Should be easy, because due to the heat there I didn't do much anyway. The pool in the hostel and of course the Miami Beach came in handy. 😂 Fortunately, it was only a 5-minute walk away. ☺️

Last Wednesday I flew back to Virginia. 🛬

What did I do in Miami the whole time? Actually not much. One day I went down to Everglades National Park with a tour group to see the many alligators. 🐊 We went out on a speedboat and shortly afterwards the alligators appeared. 😄

After that, there was also an alligator show where an employee performed some little tricks. It's not so dangerous. 😅 I even got to take a photo with a baby alligator! 😂 I'm telling you, the belly feels really warm and very smooth. The back is very tough.

During my time there, I met so many German girls who were also traveling alone! 😊 They will also study something in the media field! 😄 It was super cool because we did a lot of things together even though we didn't know each other at first.

On Sunday I really wanted to visit one of the churches there again and shortly after that I came across Trinity Church. I was able to make contacts there relatively quickly and so I spent the afternoon with a couple. 😊

On the one hand, we went to see a house because the couple is considering moving. The house already looked very expensive and had a proud price of $685,000. Just to imagine how much you would have to pay for a house near Miami. 😅

In the evening, the couple had arranged to have dinner with other people. They had somehow already arranged for me to join them. 😉 It was nice to be part of such a community! ☺️ But the food was also very good! 🍝

On the following Tuesday, I went down to Key West with another tour group. It's really beautiful driving along the coast. Once on the island, I switched to a catamaran and went snorkeling! 🤿

I can be quite adventurous sometimes. But I really wanted to take some photos and videos of my experience. 📸 Everything went well. I only had a moment of panic when I thought I had lost my phone, but it was hanging on my side. 😂

Of course, I met two German girls there again, which was a lot of fun. 🥰

After the snorkeling trip, I had about two hours left, so the German girls and I had dinner together. We found a restaurant with a sea view and live music. Very relaxing. 😊 Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to visit the many beaches. 🏝 Well, maybe another time. 😉

It's just unbelievably beautiful every time to see that you're never alone, even when you're traveling alone. 🧳🏝 But I'm also unstoppable when it comes to traveling alone. Because wherever I go, God goes with me. He prepares everything and protects me! 😊
