Beginn der Sommer Camps πŸ•πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ/ Beginning of the summer camps πŸ•πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

La daabacay: 25.06.2022

Hey ho! πŸ˜ƒ

Some have probably already noticed that I'm back at the ranch.

There is a lot going on here again. The summer camps started last Wednesday. Today we finished the first Buckaroo Camp. It was offered for the younger kids. Check out the gallery for some pictures of this year's media team and the rest of the staff πŸ˜‰.

Me and Katie are responsible for the videos that are shown at the end of each camp. We can already show you the first video we filmed and edited together. Just click on the link: https://youtu.be/23NbrbfPc8o. It's really easier for me this year, but I'm getting some good help this time! 😊

Last Wednesday night, the second-year students went out to dinner together. One student's dad had invited us to Olive Garden Restaurant in Erie. A visit to Starbucks afterwards was not to be missed! πŸ˜‰

My dear friend Katy, with whom I was in the Dominican Republic, made flower necklaces and flower bracelets last night. Check out the pictures to see how good these turned out! 😜

Let's see what else was going on. I had to smile today. When I was on the tour in L.A. at the secret spot where you could take good pictures with the Hollywood sign, the guide had said that these pictures are quite rare on the Internet. Yesterday I got a message on Facebook, if my picture can be used for a presentation about the different sights in the USA. The reason for the presentation is the 25th anniversary of the strategic partnership between Romania and the USA. A team will take this presentation to the different cities in Romania to the residents. When I know more about it, I'll let you know. πŸ˜‰ It's interesting that the tour guide was right. πŸ˜‚

Tomorrow we have a day off. I will definitely watch my brother's wedding live tomorrow morning. Unfortunately it didn't work out that I can fly home for it. I'm still excited though, because I know it's going to be a huge and wonderful day for the two of them! I can't wait to finally hold my (then married) brother in my arms again! πŸ₯²πŸ˜ƒ Then tomorrow afternoon I'm invited to another graduation party...

Then on Sunday afternoon the children of the first week of summer come. They are a little older in age. Come to think of it, it's my last 8 weeks here at the ranch. πŸ˜…πŸ₯² Time flies, especially when you're busy. I've already started packing, by the way. Even though I'm not leaving right away after my graduation. But more on that later.

So, I'd like to keep this blog post shorter. Check back soon. πŸ™‚πŸ‘‹πŸ»
