The landscape in Chiloé is - honestly - a bit boring. So we were looking forward to our flight to Punta Arenas, further south. Our seats on the plane were on the left. We're pretty sure our travel agency booked it that way for us. Well done, simply top.
We had a good view, hardly any clouds and sunshine. After just a few kilometers, you fly over snow-covered mountains and untouched fjords.
And then the captain's announcement: all the highlights lined up on the left: the Patagonian Ice Field (the third largest ice field in the world), Fitz Roy (almost never visible without clouds), Perito Moreno Glacier, and Torres del Paine.
The landscape is beautiful, stunningly beautiful, even if it's just rocks and water ✈️💦🏔🗻⛄️
