La daabacay: 30.12.2016
Today about 100 km further north to the peninsula of Peniche. The city is surrounded by a mostly well-preserved city wall, of which a whole piece has been removed to accommodate today's traffic. The peninsula has very different coastlines to offer. On one side a large beach area, then a cliff with incredible rock formations and strong surf, on the other side a less rugged cliff with calm water. Every section is super beautiful!
A chapel we visited was completely lined with blue tiles inside, each depicting different pictures.
We are now right by the lighthouse and were able to watch the sunset again directly from the WoMo, after a very warm (21 degrees) and sunny day. With port wine and cheese, ...... what more could you want? :-))
