25.12.2016 - Praia da Cresmina

Now nothing could keep us on the campsite. After filling up and emptying the tanks, we drove up and down, always keeping the coast in sight through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Our destination was Sintra, a city with many sights. Unfortunately, all the buildings were closed today. We could have saved ourselves the very long walk from the parking lot to the city or up to the castle. But exercise is always good ;-) and we still saw a lot.

Then back to the coast, but there were so many people out enjoying the beautiful weather that we drove all the way past Cascais. We had seen a great parking spot right by the Atlantic here two days ago, and now we're parked there. Originally, we wanted to drive to Lisbon today, but we were afraid of the same crowds there, so we'll try it tomorrow.
