Day 14: Off to New York

I had a somewhat restless night's sleep. I don't know what it was due to. Our ship arrived in Miami at five in the morning. From then on, it got pretty noisy at the dock. Since we had left our suitcases on shore, we could still have a peaceful breakfast because we didn't have to leave the ship until 9:45. After that, we had to find our suitcases among a few hundred others. Then we went through customs and took a taxi straight to the airport. It's always amazing how everything works without any wait time. After checking in, I saw my secret wish come true. We're flying to New York!!! Since we didn't leave until 5 o'clock, there was plenty of time to add photos to the travel blog. So the waiting time passed quickly. We arrived in New York on time with American Airlines. Then another 30 minutes by taxi to our hotel, "The Paul," in the middle of Manhattan. I was glad to have arrived because even before we left, I started feeling unwell with a headache and a cough. My intuition has now been confirmed with a temperature of 38.1 °C.
