Kia Ora Aotearoa!

We say goodbye to our loved ones for six months, shedding tears but also looking forward to the exciting new time on the other side of the world!

Everything went well until London, the flight was great! The next stop was Los Angeles and as it is with the Armis - no one knows their way around..

We were sent from counter to counter (half of our plane), had to have our picture taken twice, had to have our fingerprints taken, and then of course, we had to get back to the plane as quickly as possible so we wouldn't be even more late!

All passengers were on board, yet the plane needed another half an hour to take off - no one could tell us why!

To make our long stay on the plane more enjoyable, there was a huge selection of movies and music. But when does technology ever do what you want it to do.. The TV would turn off when it thought we had watched too many movies or only play music with a black screen. That's when it was time for a nap!

The food wasn't great, but it was edible. We were grateful for every meal!! And having dinner at a thousand meters high during sunset is also something beautiful!

Now we are finally sitting in Auckland in the grass on two sun loungers and enjoying the sun a little bit!

Angelika wants to get a sunburn on the first day!
