The day started cloudy, rain was forecast, but apart from a few drops there was nothing. After a long Sunday breakfast, we continued our journey northeast. The picture was characterized by endless expanses of fields, and you could usually see the road for miles in front of you. At some point there were a few olive trees and vines again and then we could see the Sierra de Moncayo, the highest section of the Iberian mountains.
Soon after we reached Arguedas, known for its caves, the pitch right in front of it. It's unbelievable that these caves were still inhabited until the 1960s.
Black clouds heralded a thunderstorm, a heavy rain poured down and immediately turned the street into a small sand-colored river.
