Also, yesterday we went to a small house party (8 people) and you could say it got a little late. The people were all super nice to me and are excited to practice their English. They were also kind enough to translate the Spanish conversations for me. It was a really fun evening. I also tried Elotes for the first time, cooked corn with mayonnaise, cream, hot sauce, and Doritos as toppings. Of course, I love it.
Today, despite a heavy hangover, I had to get up early to go to 'El Rancho'. It's a small property that my father uses for growing fruits. There is also a swimming pool and a covered terrace with a barbecue facility. It's a shame that it's too cold to swim. 'El Rancho' is located 45 minutes away from the actual house, and life there seems a little slower than in the city.
Since we were already struggling with our hangover, we decided to have a relaxed evening today. Tacos Charlie makes the best tacos in town (according to Eduardo, and I also find them damn delicious), and they also have an extremely delicious bean soup. Snacks were also provided, and we quickly found a suitable movie for the mood with part 1 of the Dollar Trilogy, 'A Fistful of Dollars'.
'Make three coffins' - 'I made a mistake. Unfortunately, we need four.'
With these words, I say goodnight and see you tomorrow in full spirits!
