We arrived at Leivonmäki National Park with Abel, Bella, and Thom in the car that we rented. There is still a little bit of snow, which made walking a bit tricky, but we did spot some elk tracks ;) Abel and I underestimated the distance and ended up walking with wet feet because we stood in a small stream hahaha. The weather was amazing and we made a fire at the viewpoint (using a magnesium stick and a knife like a local haha), but it took about 20 times longer to start than a local would have taken. In Finland, they have plenty of firewood, shelters, and saws that are in top condition and available for everyone to use, and surprisingly haven't been stolen. Overall, the national park here is very clean and well-maintained, even the restrooms. This is exactly how we imagined Finland :D
