La daabacay: 23.08.2017
The photos from the last post were already from Olinda, and after being saturated with the many beautiful church visits, we continued on to Porto de Galinhas (Chicken Port). For two days, we indulged in the tourist trap with delicious fried specialties from the sea. Galhinas offered us a beautiful beach with natural pools at low tide, but it was as crowded as a chicken coop. Therefore, after two days, we 'escaped' to neighboring Serrambi, where we met our first English-speaking (!!!) host and spent wonderful days at the beach. Brazilians are extremely helpful, but they talk non-stop to us, even if we make it clear that we (almost) don't understand anything. This often leads to funny situations.
