In Waldshut we had to take a few days off because of cold symptoms. We arrived at the ice cream parlor at lunchtime and nothing was working. Michael was completely exhausted and tired. So we stayed at the Waldshuter Hof because we didn't want to be at the campsite during the day in the heat.
Waldshut’s Kaiserstraße features renovated old town houses.
Some bear memories of earlier times, with former names depicted on the facade. In 1492 there was a fire in the city that destroyed 40% of the buildings.
One of the dinners was at the Rheinischer Hof. Information about its history can be found on their homepage . We had a very tasty and sumptuous meal.
And the men's toilet is decoratively on par ;) with the sanitary facilities at the campsite in Bolzano .
In the evening, the annual open-air cinema started in the pedestrian zone. Very nice atmosphere.
