Our journey continues in Ucluelet🙈 Along the way, we stopped at the Englishman River Falls and the Little Qualicum River. Then we visited MacMillan Park, which was also on the way. In this park, there are trees over 800 years old. The largest tree had a circumference of 9 meters and a height of 76 meters. You feel so small next to these giants...
The next day, we drove to Tofino and took a walk on the famous 'Long Beach'. It must look more beautiful in the summer with sunshine than in the cold, gray November 😅 but actually there were still some people surfing there. Then we walked along the rain forest trails, which were very beautiful!
The next day, we hiked the famous Wild Pacific Trail and we even had sunshine☀️! Incredibly beautiful hiking trail, right next to the water. Torge even saw a whale 🐳 from the trail, but unfortunately, I didn't. But then the next day we went to the Whale Watching Centre in Tofino and booked a tour. We boarded the boat at 1 pm and actually saw 2 gray whales. Unfortunately, they were very far away and we only briefly saw a whale fin. Otherwise, we saw them coming up to the water surface to breathe. But still, it was worth it because we could see the beautiful skyline with the mountains again in the sunshine and even saw sea otters, sea lions, and a bald eagle. 😊
