Hello bitchachos!
Long time no hear, we know. But it's not because we don't feel like writing, but because we don't have much to tell π.
On Friday, we took the ferry from Surat Thani to Koh Samui. After being picked up from the ticket counter, we took a minivan to the port, which took about 1 hour. The ferry ride itself took 1 1/2 hours. When we arrived in Koh Samui, we found our transfer to the hotel right away.
Our hotel was located on Chaweng beach and it was quite nice π. We went to the beach to check it out, but unfortunately the waves were too high and we couldn't swim π€·π½ββ. So we went back to the hotel, got ready, and went to the bar street to grab something to eat. Then we ended up in a bar - we actually made it until 12 o'clock and we saw our first ladyboys ππ½π.
The next day was all about the beach. But by 3 pm, we didn't feel like it anymore, so we went back to the hotel after a snack and watched Netflix (we're already on series number 5! π) and took a nap because we wanted to check out the nightlife in the evening.
So if you want to party, Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui is the place to be. We went to a bar right on the beach (actually a resort) and it was quite amusing. Of course there were fire shows and 628272818 vendors trying to sell you jewelry or other weird stuff. And of course, we were fully in our element - people watching π. After the bar closed at 2 o'clock, we continued to a club.
It was definitely a crazyyyy night, which is why the next day, except for meals, we didn't leave our hotel ππ.
Yesterday, we were back at the beach. But at 3 pm, we went back to the hotel again because we couldn't handle the heat without wind.
Today, we continued to Koh Phangan. We were picked up at 12 o'clock and taken to the ferry or boat. The ride only took half an hour, but thanks to the nice waves, Jasna got really sick π. Now we've arrived at the sealove resort and it's really a dream here. Pool, private beach, hammocks and cushions everywhere, and the food here is really good and cheap too.
Unfortunately, Lara got food poisoning, so there's not much we can do except hope she gets better tomorrow π₯Ί.
So if you don't hear from us, we're enjoying the last days of our beach life to the fullest ππ.
Until then, take care, have fun in the snow β π.
