Today we continued in the rush of impressions and senses, but completely different than yesterday.
In the morning, we took the bus to Boulder City, from there we flew in a jet to the Grand Canyon. During the flight, we were able to admire the Hoover Dam from above and the huge, endless reservoir behind it. After 35 minutes, we landed relaxed in the desert on the edge of the Grand Canyon and switched to the helicopter. It gently and smoothly flew us down into the Grand Canyon. We then took a pontoon speedboat to the Colorado River and back to the helicopter, which transported us back up.
Of course, we also visited the iconic viewpoints Eagle Point with Skywalk and Guano Point (most beautiful panoramic view). What can I say.... breathtaking and overwhelming, this nature, unique rock formations, and steep canyons of a depth that is hard to imagine. Unfortunately, the pictures do not even come close to capturing it. Just a tip from me: if anyone of you visits Eagle Point, skip the Skywalk. Expensive and pure rip-off, with unfriendly and rude staff.... you can enjoy everything just as well, if not better, without that glass ledge.
Back again by plane to Boulder City and back to the hotel in Las Vegas.... an overwhelming day.
Conclusion: How small and insignificant is man when he is allowed to stand in the middle of such nature....
