La daabacay: 20.02.2019
Not much exciting has happened again. But fortunately, that will come to an end on Saturday, because then we will finally visit the next national park and go to Sydney. The job is really exhausting and tiring... I'm already looking forward to the two days being over. On Monday, we had to recharge all electronic devices to 100%, so we chose a library and spent about 3 hours there. 😁
On the weekend, we found a nice spot by a beautiful lake where camping was allowed. But when we wanted to go back, our companions realized that they had lost their car keys. Unfortunately, they had left them in their swim trunks and went into the water. 🤦🏻♀️ Two hours passed and the guys managed to break into the car - that's how our Sunday went. Thankfully, everything was fine and there was a spare key available too.
At the moment, we go to bed exhausted relatively early every evening. Yesterday, I had to go to the toilet at 9:00 p.m. and there I met a very nice man who offered to come to the next room, they had plenty of food and drinks. So, I gathered the others and we went over, not expecting anything. What awaited us was incredible. It was set up like a mini kiosk with everything your heart desires. Fruits, vegetables, drinks, spices, etc. It felt uncomfortable for us to take things without paying, but it brought them so much joy to make us happy. The couple is sick, the man is in a wheelchair, and his wife is also having trouble walking with crutches. We were given boxes for all the groceries. They receive these items from farmers or stores that can no longer sell them due to minor defects. They told us that we can always send a text message saying: we need food! 🙈 How touching. Unfortunately, our journey continues this weekend. However, we were incredibly grateful and are now equipped again! 😊
