Just like the other guests, many of them are motorcyclists from the German-speaking countries, we had a cozy breakfast on the veranda of our hotel restaurant this morning and made a plan for the day ahead of us. Our plan was simple: first ride our motorcycles into the mountains and then go for a swim at the beach on the way back.
Our expectations were exceeded once again! Curves, curves, and more curves! The roads have endless grip and the impressive mountain landscape is adorned with picturesque, colorful villages - perfect! The only downside was the mountain lake "Lago Bau Muggeris" that looked interesting on the map but turned out to be a slightly less inviting, artificial reservoir. Well, then let's continue straight to the sea.
On the way there, we discovered a coffee bar that is mainly frequented by locals and is rarely visited by tourists. Just right for us! The host was visibly pleased with our visit and sang a hymn to his wonderful homeland, his coffee bar in general, and his cappuccino in particular as a welcome. Of course, in addition to the two espressos and the bottle of water, we also ordered two of his delicious cappuccinos. For such good customers, the nice host even donated two sweet pastries as a bonus. Wonderful!
After a short trip, we arrived at the beach. This wild section was almost deserted and the water was crystal clear. While Steffi plunged directly into the waves, I relaxed in the shade of the pines. That's how you can have a good time. 😄👍
