Lake Bracciano

So hot... Idyllic, quiet, remote...

We sleep until half past 8 again. Mom has to do laundry and at around 9 she asks Alessio to explain the Italian washing machine. Apparently he has never operated it before. Since they are very strict about the type and dosage of detergent at the campsite in Venice, I ask him. He says, 'you better know it than me"... Ok, let's just start it somehow, it will get clean. The kids are incredibly relaxed. They dig in the sand for half the day, play by the water and swim. Since we are parked by the water with the caravan, everything is within reach. Very convenient... And wonderfully relaxing for the parents. The day goes by... We eat outdoors with a view of the lake. Very nice....
