La daabacay: 12.09.2019
The trip is coming to an end and our last spot is the beautiful Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is located at an altitude of about 2000m and the air is very dry. My hands are tight and slowly healing and it's easy to get dizzy if you don't drink enough.
The good thing is that there are not many insects here because it's too hot during the day and too cold at night. *Yai*
But no one mentioned the 100 annoying wasps on the beach...
And there we were, sitting on the beach in front of the turquoise and super clear lake with 100% sunshine, trying not to move at all to avoid being attacked. Of course, that didn't work quite well. A wasp crawled under my left armpit and stung me, causing me to panic and jump into the lake with my clothes on. The wasp followed me until I finally dunked my head underwater and then swam around in the lake for about an hour.
And honestly, it was really beautiful!! The water was so clear that you could see everything beneath you, and 20 degrees Celsius is not too cold :)
As a reward, we had fried plantain and went into the hot tub with a view of the starry sky :)
Photos coming tomorrow.
