24.02.2018 - Plate #015 - New Zealand Home Cooking

Due to limited options for restaurants in Hokatika, and because I didn't want to drive again, and I didn't feel like having Indian, pizza, or fish & chips again, I ended up going to Stumpers.

The advantage: it's close by and you can watch the sunset.

This time I had a "Slow cooked Pork Belly, with Beetroot, Apple sauce, Fries and Side Salad"

I didn't think that the apple sauce (a more liquid but just as sweet applesauce) would taste so delicious with pork belly.

It was a lot, rich, and delicious!
