Gardens and Desert

We started the day with a hike through a green valley. In this valley, all the families living there have small gardens where they grow olives, figs, dates, spices, cabbage, etc. The many small gardens are reminiscent of Swiss allotment gardens, only the many small houses that belong to every garden in Switzerland are missing. In the afternoon, we went on dromedaries into the Sahara where we reached our nomad tent after a 4 km ride. Under thick blankets, wrapped up in hats and gloves, we were nice and warm all night, but it's a different story this morning... Now it's time to ride the dromedaries back to the next desert adventure.
