HELLO in New Zealand

• Now we are furthest away from home and we will celebrate Christmas with friends and continue our journey. After the official entry, we are warmly welcomed by friends and the children realize it is really warm here. As promised, we celebrate Christmas in shorts and barefoot. It's great to have such good friends at the other end of the world. Besides gifts, playground, and BBQ, there is a lot of storytelling.

On the second day of Christmas, we go to Muriwai Beach with sun, sand, and first swimming. On the way back, fresh strawberries and strawberry ice cream. Summer, you are reality.

We visit Auckland Downtown, the university, old paths are rediscovered next to new houses and construction sites. It has changed, and yet one still knows one's way around and recognizes many things.
