La daabacay: 23.08.2019
The last day had arrived.
One last time we had breakfast with our host families before they took us to our bus. More or less reluctantly, everyone said goodbye to their host families and stowed their luggage on the bus.
After a short hike through Hastings, we arrived at the 'Smugglers Adventure', a rather chilly cave tour that gave us an insight into the tough life of smugglers back then.
Since this cave tour made us quite hungry, we went into town and treated ourselves to a delicious lunch at the Italian restaurant.
In small groups, we spent our last money and then met again to visit the local aquarium. There were colorful fish, sharks, and other inhabitants of the underwater world to admire.
One last time, we set out to explore the city itself and say goodbye to the city. Toni, our first-class bus driver, picked us up and the journey back home began. Through France and Belgium on the ferry for the overnight trip back home.
