Termas de Jurasi and the mud

La daabacay: 14.01.2017

Last night it rained heavily all night, which didn't bode well. In addition, 2 more of the 5 rooms were occupied. The one next to me with an obviously lung sick tourist and another one by a German couple who are exploring the area together. As a die-hard Putre lover, I gave them some tips on where to go and hope they didn't sink in the mud... I myself went to the Termas de Jurasi nearby and also jumped into the pool, the water from the volcano is 50 degrees, the pool is probably over 30 degrees. For me as a fan of warm baths, it's awesome.....

Afterwards I wanted to take a walk in the area, but it was impossible, I sank in the mud (see picture) but the Lidl boots brought me back safely to the Hilux and then it was already back, not without stopping on Ruta 11 and watching the trucks struggling up the mountain at a walking pace, I found it somehow fascinating....

The rest of the day I spent washing laundry against the rules and sorting myself out halfway through and getting rid of more baggage (e.g. pages of travel guides where I can no longer go). Together it weighs another 200 grams.

This Putre is very bleak even in bad weather, also some pictures are attached, but somehow it's a good place to find peace... I also met Pablo again and will go to his restaurant again tonight....
