Stormy night. Nothing works. We have no Wi-Fi, no hot spot. Just rain, rain, rain. All attractions 'fall into the water' it pours continuously. In Tin Can Bay we see the sea for the first time. Ha ha ha. - Everything gray on gray. We drive, drive, drive only in the rain. After about 300 km a campsite in Howard. Overnight, golf ball-sized hailstones fell here!! Branches are everywhere. And it still pours heavily. We thought we were in Australia!!! We ask for a place to eat. A shuttle takes us to the town. The only bright spot today. There is steak, the first meal since the flight from Hong Kong. We are brought back again. It doesn't stop raining. We sit and write in the lounge with Wi-Fi. Tomorrow we will continue north, hoping for improvement..... We have never experienced so much rain - heavy rain - in one go before. All campsites are underwater. We still have hope... Months of preparation, over 20 hours of flight and then this....
@ Markus and Silke: Next time we will go to Sweden or Scotland!! The weather can't be bad there.
