The last trip is being put to good use. Sleeping on trains is better than sleeping on buses.
The challenge is officially over. All the students have safely returned to Mannheim. An amazing journey through 5 countries, in the heart of Europe, comes to an end. For me, the trip has been a wonderful experience. We got to experience firsthand the freedom of movement provided by the Schengen agreements.
We experienced a lot during the trip. We had conversations with people and overcame travel and language barriers. We had sports activities and cultural encounters.
Each student had to face their own challenges.
Challenges push us to our limits (otherwise they wouldn't be challenges). In the last week, we faced some of our own limits. Whether they were personal or geographical limits. Just because you can't always see them, doesn't mean they don't exist. I'm proud of my team. Rest up from the trip. We'll see each other refreshed in the coming days.
