Our stopover after the Bonnette
We covered over 800 kilometers (about 100 km per day). However, the almost 1800 meters of altitude were more challenging
We also needed a lot of fluids, about 5-6 bidons per day. We refilled our two bidons each. One cyclist who stayed at the campsite near the hiking hut and wanted to go to Austria - Italy through Switzerland, had 7 bidons with him.
We saw it for the first time during the ascent to the Col de Saisis.
after our prologue on the Mont Ventoux, our actual starting point at the Mediterranean
We saw many. There were vintage cars worth several million Swiss francs (especially old Porsches and Ferraris) with the corresponding smell. Many had race numbers on their cars.
