Pausentag - Grado

Relaxed day, started with a nice breakfast, bread roll, newspaper, jam and strong coffee. The little Maccinetta works quite well on the gas stove. After breakfast, we cycled towards Grado.
My bike runs by itself without any luggage. I feel like I haven't put the large chainring on the front in a while. Croatia was more of a "chain on the left" for the cyclists among you.

Campsite and beaches still quite empty, low season. Most of those there come from Germany.
The small island of Grado is worth a visit despite all the tourism. I liked the old town centre. Even before the First World War, it was chosen as a seaside resort with a train connection for the Viennese elite in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
