On Sunday 06/04/17 we took to the skies once again and went on a beautiful helicopter flight to the Kilauea volcano on Big Island. p>
This volcano is currently the most active volcano on Earth. Since 1983, this natural wonder has been continuously active. p>
We were also able to take great pictures from the air. We saw the lava boiling and flowing and even observed the magma flowing into the Pacific at 1100 degrees, gradually enlarging the island. p>
We were able to see the great spectacle from the ground on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 when we visited the Volcano National Park. p>
The magma was visible everywhere and caused great damage to the plant and animal life. We also marveled at the individual spots where hot sulfur emerged from the ground. p>
In addition, we even hiked through a volcano crater that is no longer boiling but still releases hot sulfur to the surface. p>
