Day 11 France 2023 - 2,165km "Carcassonne" -> "Montagnac"
The day got off to a slow start, with Lea having a sore throat, Tom jogging and bad weather for everyone. Nevertheless, we decided to do a scooter tour to Carcassonne. There we treated ourselves to a lunch menu for little money - the food was just wonderful! Onion soup, fresh fish and vegetables and an incredibly delicious mousse au chocolat for dessert! Then back to the van, stowed the scooter and off towards the Mediterranean coast and the next winemaker.
There we were greeted wonderfully by the farm dog "Mojito". At 7:00 p.m. the wine tasting started, which we held with our new English friends from Southampton. We were served oysters and other French delicacies. Shortly before the end of the wine tasting, a French Atze stopped by as a passenger from a Schaffer car (Tomcat Kalle) and an Italian camper couple joined our wine tasting.
A really boozy wine festival, with lots of nice conversations, that we held in the south of France. You can't imagine a nicer evening!
