Beach in Khao Lak

The Moracea was right on the beach, so we spent a lot of time there. The hotel is located on Nang Thong Beach, and this section is called Sunset Beach. Although it wasn't very far from our last hotel, this stretch of beach was much nicer. The rocks there added a special charm to the whole experience! Plus, this is one of the few beach sections here in Khao Lak where there is still beach even during high tide. In many areas, the beach completely disappears.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't always the best, as you can see in the pictures. The sea was often rough and didn't have a particularly beautiful color. The difference between calm waters and good weather is simply astonishing.

If you walked along the beach to the left, you could enjoy a wonderful Thai massage on the beach for a small price. If you went to the right, you would head towards the Laguna Resort. We often find a stray dog or even a whole gang of dogs on the beach!
