Day 25 - Toyota runs over Hamilton!

Byatangajwe: 08.12.2016

12/08/16

We are on the 8/12/16. Time unknown. It is dark. It's raining - clearly heard from the noise coming from the Jucy roof. An unmistakable noise emerges from under the bed, similar to a hair dryer - because we have been using external power since Auckland for the first time. The black box (see post Day 9) is working. And then one or the other has to go out briefly. What a night.

No wonder we sleep/doze longer today and only get up at 10 o'clock. Advantage, everyone else is already gone and we have our peace and the kitchen to ourselves. Disadvantage: None, because it's still raining.

Breakfast with 3-minute eggs
Brunch with 3-minute eggs

After brunch and working on some pending tasks, we leave the farm. We're heading north. After a few smaller villages, we suddenly come across a city with quite a lot of traffic, shops, and restaurants. We find a park and eat the homemade pasta salad comfortably. During the subsequent walk, we also take today's photo (see below :-)

Then we wander around a bit in the streets, looking for a parking space and a program. We don't find either. So we don't feel like going out into the cold and wet weather. We decide to continue driving west. It occurs to us that we just ran over the city Hamilton - haha. Unfortunately, there's not much more behind today's headline, similar to a tabloid headline. But it still sounds good, doesn't it?! ;-)

After an hour and an Advent attack on the drive, we arrive in the west in Raglan (a popular surf spot). We park the Jucy at a campsite and soon listen to the pillow.
