Pont-à-Bar - Mouzon
After breakfast in the canal this morning, we were moving too slowly back towards Pont-à-Bar to go through the locks heading east. The speed lever was stuck. A brief stop back in the harbor confirms that we were just careless; we had put the bicycle on the flying bridge and thus blocked the lever. Oh well.
Then we continued very relaxed over the Meuse at 24 degrees and sunny weather. We saw various cranes and a turtle in between, and Jan, Dennis, Benni, and Linda even jumped into the far too cold river.
The last lock of the day was of course also broken, so we stood still for a good half hour before we docked in Mouzon for the night. Here we walked past red cabbage and zucchini through the little town to the only really fancy restaurant.
