Day 10 - Breakfast, kayaking, nice acquaintances, good food, yacht, our accommodation - 07/13/2020

This morning was very fresh. Somehow, Thassos didn't agree to give us a nice last sunny day.

Nevertheless, we had a leisurely breakfast outside as usual and then got ready to meet Claudia and Despina with her husband in Tripiti.

As we were driving there, a smaller impressive yacht was just docking :-)

After missing a departure there, we arrived a bit later than planned but still on time to showcase our great kayak. The enthusiasm was great, so we quickly agreed. After a good deal, we stayed there a little while longer and had a nice conversation. That's how you make new acquaintances. The next time in Thassos, we now know where we can have a nice meal and Despina also rents apartments in Potos, so we might benefit from that as well. The best thing for me is that I no longer have to carry the big kayak around and it has found nice new owners.

After that, we decided to return to our accommodation and finally visit our favorite tavern in Thassos for the second time. And correspondingly, the sun came out again.

So we spent a very nice and occasionally funny afternoon by the sea, always with a view of the little yacht.

We also discovered that Greeks are very retiree-friendly and provide small motorboats exclusively for retirees. Even if it's written in a funny way, the text is crystal clear for retirees. The boats say: 'for Rent' :-) ;-) I think this service is great.

On the way back to our accommodation, we quickly stopped at the minimarket to buy the essentials.

As soon as we arrived at the accommodation, clouds appeared again and it became very humid.

Now we'll let the rest of the day pass and start packing a little bit, as we will leave the island tomorrow.
