Thank you Deutsche Bahn for nothing

Actually everything was planned to start on 21.07.

Arrival to Venlo by train, return from Arnhem also by train.

And the devil is in the details.

If the Düsseldorf-Mönchengladbach route is closed on the outbound journey and I have to plan three instead of two hours for the Wuppertal route, if the Kreuz Kaiserberg is closed on the way back and the RE19 does not run there.

So my wife will probably drive me to Venlo by car. Not environmentally friendly, but with a three-hour journey and a transfer risk in Viersen, a relaxed vacation just won't start.

On the way back I have three to four options.

It will probably turn out that I am on the road one day longer than planned. One must also see the good side.
