80. Zakynthos-> Southwest coast-> Keri Lake Harbour

Day 80: As we get our Nuggy ready after waking up, the idea comes up to rent a boat and explore a coastline on our own. Less than an hour later, we are already at Keri Lake Harbour, negotiating with the first boat rental. Two more join in. In the end, the sympathetic guys from Caretta Caretta get the contract.

After being informed about the special danger points and prohibited areas, the "thorough" briefing takes place. It felt like it didn't even last a minute before we were on our way.

The excursion turns out to be the crowning conclusion of our visit to Zakynthos for both of us. 5 hours full of unforgettable moments. Among other things, we also saw three turtles.

However, there was a small mishap: at the Myzithres rock, due to the strong crowd, we anchor too far out. And promptly it gets caught between 2 rocks on the bottom. We can't lift it anymore, despite a lot of pulling, shaking, and changing direction. In the end, the lifeguard on site dives to bring the anchor back up. Of course, for a small compensation of 20 euros 😖

Before we spend the night on the grass between the beach and the "lake", we take a refreshing swim in the sea. Even with a subsequent freshwater shower.
