After a long journey (departure from Vienna on 03.08.) and a visit to Playmobil Funpark in Zirndorf on 04.08. (near Nuremberg) with pleasant 37°C temperatures in between, we arrive happily in Steinhagen (near Bielefeld) on 05.08. at Julian's, our private landlord for the next two weeks.
In between, we had a fun overnight stop in Oelhausen, a little town in Hesse. The boss radiated an almost heart-wrenching politeness, and we were really afraid to order our food - we almost felt like we were back home in Vienna...
Julian is already waiting for us (he also wants to go on a weekend vacation) and quickly explains the motorhome to us, which we, as experienced campers by now, briskly pass off with 'oh, everything's clear'. Just as Julian finishes and says goodbye with 'I'll then work from home, huh', and we start unloading our living room (as always) from our car (finally, the whole living room actually fits), it starts pouring rain of course!
After loading everything in heavy rain, we finally sit like wet rags in the motorhome on our way north. The destination is Broager Strand Camping (just after the DE-DK border), where we arrive at around 20:15 after a very nice traffic jam in and around Hamburg and about 8 hours of driving (including shopping and dining stops).
