This afternoon I went to Malahide, a small village near Dublin. It was a bit complicated as I had to change trains twice and couldn't find the platforms, but I managed to catch all my trains and arrived in Malahide after over 1 hour of travel. Malahide is right by the sea, so I took a look at the beach right away. Then I took a tour of Malahide Castle. It was definitely cool, people actually lived there until 1970, then the taxes became too high :)
After that, I was picked up by my host dad at the parking lot, which took a bit of time because he didn't know how big the park around the castle is. We then went to his parents' house, who live in Malahide.
