Off to Fiji

We have to check out of the room at 12 o'clock, the taxi is coming at 2 o'clock. We're going to invest our last cash in beer.😋😉

At 2:30 p.m. we're already at passport control. The airport is very well-organized. There was a short computer outage, but we were still allowed to leave.

The ATR72 flies surprisingly smoothly. We land after 2 hours. There's still a 2-hour time difference, so now it's 12 hours. The taxi to the hotel takes 30 minutes and costs 40 FJD (17€). Then we'll take a small boat to the peninsula. The hotel looks amazing. It's almost too luxurious for us. They offer us a bungalow for 350 FJD, but our room with a terrace and sea view is completely sufficient for us. A quick dinner on the beach and another day is already over. Travel days really feel short.😊
